Muhammad & Dyed Hair:-
Contrary to all the later assertions that Muhammad was almost SUPERNATURAL, both the Quran and the Ahadith prove otherwise.
He was very human and mortal and as vain as most men are.
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 4053 Narrated byAbdullah ibn Umar
Zayd ibn Aslam said: Ibn Umar used to dye his beard with yellow colour so much so that his clothes were filled (dyed) with yellowness. He was asked: Why do you dye with yellow colour? He replied: I saw the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) dyeing with yellow colour, and nothing was dearer to him than it. He would dye all his clothes with it, even his turban.
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 4.668 & 7.786 Narrated byAbu Huraira
Allah's Apostle said, "The Jews and the Christians do not dye (their grey hair), so you shall do the opposite of what they do (i.e. dye your grey hair and beards)."
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 4198 Narrated byAbdullah ibn Umar
The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to wear tanned leather sandals and dye his beard yellow with wars and saffron.
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 4453 Narrated byAbdullah ibn Umar
The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to wear tanned leather sandals and dye his beard yellow with wars and saffron. And Ibn Umar used to do that.
Nasa'i transmitted it.

Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "dye grey hairs and do not copy the Jews."
Tirmidhi transmitted it, and Nasa'i transmitted it on the authority of Ibn Umar and Az-Zubayr.
